Support FACE

FACE is curently entirely run and staffed by volunteers, without any paid staff due to lack of funding.  We are thankful to have had volunteers take on the FACE Coordinator role for the past several years, while we seek out funding to hire a Coordinator.

Ten years ago, FACE received $36,000 from the Ontario Trillium Foundation to hire its first coordinator.  When that funding ended, FACE coordinator tasks were shared among volunteers. 

In ten years, we have never turned down a request for a circle.  Circles are offered without cost to participants as a community service.  Our progress has been slowed because of lack of funding.  It costs about $60,000 to operate the program, with the majority of costs going toward a paid co-ordinator position and the costs of running a small office with meeting space.  We would like to expand our outreach, provide more public information on restorative justice, offer more facilitator training sessions, and expand our circle programs, so rest assured that your donations will be put to immediate use.

We appreciate each and every financial donations, small or large, that can help us maintain and expand our programs.  We also appreciate in-kind donations of items and services which can help us to lower our operating costs.  FACE is a registered charity, and donations over $20 will receive tax receipts.  Please provide your full name and mailing address and indicate if you would like to receive a tax receipt.
